Free Drugs for Low-Income Patients
We have developed software for the prescription assistance program industry for the past five years. We often
get calls from visitors to our website seeking information on drug company prescription assistance programs. Therefore we
have compiled a list of some of the major prescription aid programs as a service to our visitors. Descriptions of the
plans have been copied from each company's literature.
AstraZeneca
Prescription Assistance Program
The AstraZeneca Foundation Patient Assistance Program was created in 1978 to provide AstraZeneca medications free of charge to
low-income patients who do not have prescription coverage, do not qualify for government-funded programs, and do not have the means
to pay for the medications themselves. Patients enroll annually and, if approved for the program, receive free medication delivered
right to their door.

GlaxoSmithKline Together Card
The Together Rx Card offers qualified Medicare beneficiaries savings on more than 160 medicines from seven major pharmaceutical
companies at participating pharmacies nationwide.
Johnson & Johnson: The Patient Assistance Program is designed to help
qualified patients gain access to The U.S. pharmaceutical and biotechnology
companies of the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies have a number of ways to
assist patients who do not have prescription drug coverage.
Lilly Cares Program
As part of the company's efforts to provide access to our products for all Americans regardless of their ability to pay, Lilly has a
long-standing program to offer free medication, through physicians, to patients who are otherwise unable to obtain their Lilly
medicine.
Merck Patient Assistance Program
When patients who need access to specific prescription medications cannot afford them, they can work with their physician to find
out about Merck's Patient Assistance Program.
Novartis Patient Assistance Program
Novartis is committed to providing access to our medications for those most in need through the Novartis Pharmaceuticals
Corporation's Patient Assistance Program (PAP).

Pharmaceutical Patient Assistance Program is a service to provide patients who, because of financial burden and/or lack of
