Mildly Wild uses our order processing software to route orders for custom designs on a variety of clothing including hats, tee shirts, and sweat shirts.

Developers at Blue Claw Database Design were contacted to create a sales order processing database to replace an aging spreadsheet order management system which was becoming unmanageable due to recent growth in business.

The most challenging aspect of the order processing database involved creating the ability to easily break apart customer order components and quickly compositing them into supplier orders for the t-shirts and component. The specific deliverables for the order processing template where as follows:

The entire customer order is enterable and viewable on the Orders screen. This includes multiple continuous dependent forms for maximum view ability of data.

An important part of the order process is creation of distributor purchase orders based on line items from each customer order.

At the end of the day the user is able to pick and choose between different order line items to generate a distributor order since only some distributors offer specific items and rarely only specific sizes:

Our customer order reports include several important feature: Pivoting of order size records into column header; the classic alternating line colors; and dynamic insertion of graphics associated with each order (note the bowling team logo at bottom of report). The complex customer order reports can be programmed in a couple of hours by our software design team.
