Order Management System at Sportswear & Wearable Art Company

Mildly Wild uses our order processing software to route orders for custom designs on a variety of clothing including hats, tee shirts, and sweat shirts.

Developers at Blue Claw Database Design were contacted to create a sales order management  system to replace an aging spreadsheet order management system which was becoming unmanageable due to recent growth in business.

The specific deliverables for the order management software where as follows:

• Very user friendly, simple interface

• Real time entry and management of customer orders

• Generation of customer quote reports

• Dynamic inclusion of graphics design on reports

• Generate distributor orders from line items of customer orders

• Create packing slips for order shipments

All of these functions were created with an very user friendly efficient  interface in a tabbed layout.  This interface is the most efficient from a user's point of view.

The entire customer order is enterable and viewable on the Orders screen.  This includes multiple continuous dependent forms for maximum view ability of data.

An import part of the order management process is creation of distributor purchase orders based on line items from each customer order.

At the end of the day the user is able to pick and choose between different order line items to generate a distributor order since only some distributors offer specific items and rarely only specific sizes:

Our customer order reports include several important feature:  Pivoting of order size records into column header; the classic alternating line colors; and dynamic insertion of graphics associated with each order (note the bowling team logo at bottom of report).  The complex customer order reports can be programmed in a couple of hours by our software design team.

Our sales order management software is infinitely expandable because all lists are modifiable by the user.
